These terms govern your use of Gravitas ("the app"), a speech coaching application operated by Gravitas ("we", "our", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Gravitas provides AI-powered speech coaching. You record practice sessions and receive automated feedback on areas like filler words, pacing, vocal variety, and energy. The app tracks your progress over time and offers a structured curriculum to help you improve.

AI-Generated Content

All coaching feedback in Gravitas is generated by artificial intelligence. It is intended as general guidance to help you practice and improve your speaking skills. It is not a substitute for professional speech therapy, medical advice, or any other professional service. Use the feedback at your own discretion.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app, which permanently removes your data from our servers.

Subscriptions

• Gravitas offers optional paid subscriptions ("Gravitas Pro") that unlock additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and pricing.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes attempting to reverse-engineer the app, interfere with its operation, use it for any unlawful purpose, or abuse the AI coaching system in ways that degrade the experience for others.

Your Content

Speech recordings you make in the app are yours. We process them solely to provide coaching feedback. We do not share, sell, or use your recordings for any purpose other than delivering the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

We strive to keep Gravitas available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

Gravitas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
